The day after Lt. Dan Choi and Capt. Jim Pietrangelo first were arrested on the White House fence demanding the repeal of Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell –3 Queer Rising members attempted to enlist in the Time Square Army Recruitment center as out members of the LGBTQ community. The members were not allowed to enlist and continued to block enlistment at the center along with several other Queer Rising members.
